Non Invasive Wrinkle Treatment : Injections

Overview

These techniques are  non invasive, less time consuming and do not need to be practiced in a clinic.
There are basically two families of injectables : neuromodulators and volumators. Schematically the first family is used in the upper half of the face and the second in the lower half.

Volumators

  • Hyaluronic acid
  • Smoothes out wrinkles by filling them in

Neuromodulators

  • Botuline toxin : "Botox"
  • Smoothes out wrinkles by relaxing the muscles responsible of these wrinkles
  • Location of procedure : medical office, or home visit by a doctor
  • Effect : after a few days
  • Possible side-effect : redness at the site of injections
